How This Site Came About….

Hi! I’m Steve Maziarz and I am so glad you’ve discovered this site. You see, I’m a relative newcomer to phpMyDirectory. However,

I’ve been helping other people start and promote their own businesses — both online and traditional — since I was in high school. In the course of helping someone launch a site, I came upon phpMyDirectory. I had researched about 20 other competing products and chose phpMyDirectory over them all because of the exceptional value it offers.

In my research, I saw that phpMyDirectory had the capability of adding Plugins and Themes. So, I figured that was a great thing and there would be plenty of affordable options. Boy, was I in for a surprise. It wasn’t a pleasant one. When I started shopping for templates, I got a rude awakening. There really wasn’t much out there.

While I’m a relative newcomer to the phpMyDirectory User Community, I’ve been a life-long computer enthusiast who enjoys a challenge. So, I decided to figure out how to easily create phpMyDirectory templates and expand the offerings out there.

During my early days, I remember reading a few things about making money:

MATCHING WORDPRESS TEMPLATES!!

I’ve seen various discussions on the phpMyDirectory Community about wanting to integrate a Blog into their PMD sites. There are matching WordPress themes available for all of my templates. So, adding a Blog to your phpMyDirectory website is as simple as installing WordPress and picking up the matching theme. It’s no secret that Google LOVES fresh content on your site. Adding a Blog to your site is the easiest way I know of to make this happen.

I’ve been producing Commercial Software for general public use for over 18 years. I’ve been writing computer software for over 35 years.
